The Classic Fit Original 

An old school classic, often a good choice for bathing and for loan store contracts. The Classic Fit Original covers a wide range of applications. This model of tailored sling is out classic fit but in its basic form, without the TS orange fabric, making it a great choice for bathing while cost effective for contract work.

Main application - this sling is often chosen for:
  • Chair to bed transfers/bed to chair transfers
  • Chair to chair transfers
  • Chair to toilet transfers (undergarment preparation on bed/changing table)
  • Bath/shower transfers

Did you know? There are many important ingredients that go into the Classic Fit Original tailored sling but the main two are:

The Classic Fit 

An old school classic, with a twist. The Classic Fit covers a wide range of applications and is one of Managing Health's popular slings. 

Main application - the sling is often used for:

Did you know? There are many important factors that go into the Classic Fit tailored sling but the main ones are:
  • TS grey - a fabric used throughout the range, soft and strong
  • TS orange - frequently used fabric throughout the range assisting with the application as the material enables the leg sections to be easily applied in tight chairs, but is ridged enough to help the leg sections keep their shape.

The Longseat Fit

Best suited for when slings are to be left under the user but requires additional leg support. After the initial success of leaving slings under the user we have established that benefits could be had from still having separate leg sections. The Longseat Fit has a special aperture away from the seated area that allows the leg sections to be lifted individually, giving more support and comfort around the legs.

  • Chair to bed transfers/bed to chair transfers
  • Chair to chair transfers
  • Daytime use - often applied in the morning then staying in the wheelchair with regular pressure breaks
  • Good solution for amputees

The Seated Fit

The Seated Fit sling are used for when it is to be left underneath the user. This material has been developed to avoid sweating when the sling is left in the wheelchair to produce better airflow, breathable properties and added comfort.

  • Daytime use - often applied in the morning, remaining in the wheelchair with regular pressure relief breaks

Specialist finishes such as 'antibacterial' and 'infra-red reflective' can be applied and TS spacer is dyeable, machine-washable and will not de-laminate or breakdown.

The Seated Fit Plus

When slings are to be left under the user, but this time in a very tight or moulded wheelchair. We still have instances when our TS spacer is a little too thick for a wheelchair, for example in moulded wheelchairs or other specialist seating systems. Thinner than TS spacer out TS spacer plus also has the added benefit of silver ions to help reduce microbial growth.

  • Daytime use - often applied in the morning remaining in the wheelchair with regular pressure relief breaks

Managing Health's highly supportive toileting sling, The Access Fit due to its design is a very supportive toileting sling that allows the user's arms to be on the inside of the sling.
